LAW’s Nuclear World’s Thoughts Today . . .

Seeing that Trump didn’t know the difference between a nuclear weapons and supporting transportation equipment that caused, and is still causing, International turmoil over his demand for the USA to begin nuclear weapons testing after more than 30 years of abandoning it, so I have to wonder if Trump knows the difference between a nuclear powered submarine and a nuclear attack or nuclear armed submarine, and clearly understands the type of nuclear submarine South Korea is asking the U.S. to help build and pay for.

Although I ask this a bit “tongue-in-cheek”, I can’t help but ask and his ignorance and lack of knowledge, now including demanding that some democratic congress-members with former military careers of treason and death sentences.

Don’t forget that this insane perverted man still has his individual hands on the “nuclear button” or “nuclear football”, as it is often referred to today . . .

He and his cabinet, and his entire administration, must be removed from the White House before anymore blood, guts, and death occurs in Trump’s hopeless presidency! ~llaw

LAW’s All Things Nuclear Thoughts for Today . . .

While I appreciate the belief of the nuclear uneducated and uninformed that nuclear energy is going to even lessen, alleviate, or cure the global warming/climate change issue we continue to face every day, our pipe-dreams could not be more wrong, and implausible in so many ways.

The formal climate change process began in 1992 and the 1st annual meeting began in 1995, hence the “30”, meaning this is the 30th year. To make a long story short, the annual conference, and especially the idea of nuclear power lending a hand — has never yet and never will be environmentally successful in reducing the problem of CO2 and other greenhouse gasses constantly streaming up into the Earth’s atmosphere. Big ideas and wishful thinking are all these annual meetings have ever generated, and neither will this “nuclear one” produce anything but more of the same. But, there are also other extensive issues that make it the worst fuel of any kind on planet Earth . . .

Even given a slight reduction in greenhouse gasses, nuclear energy is the very worst possible way of trying to “clear the air” and improve our attempt to get rid of fossil fuels, and only human conservatism and renewable resources like solar, wind, hydroelectric, and geothermal power generation will ever solve the CO2 problem. Nuclear power should be forever outlawed along with coal, oil, gas, uranium, together with minor waste such as wood, old tires, and dump fires.

Uranium — the fuel for nuclear reactors — has its own waste problems, like nuclear plant failures for their many reasons causing nuclear fallout drifting with the wind, waste storage, massive open pit mining projects with heavy equipment pouring tons of atmospheric waste, and then there are nuclear trafficking, theft and terrorism, and stationary nuclear power plants are now (e.g. the Russia/Ukraine war) subject to weapons of war in conventional or even nuclear war.

And, oh, did I mention the incredible cost to construct and operate nuclear power plants and the eventual cost of producing nuclear fuel (uranium) as, much like other fossil fuels, but even more expensive? Uranium is also more subject to depletion than the other CO2+ energy producing fossil fuels.

So. it seems, nuclear power is not only really, really, bad for every reason imaginable; it is also far and away the most expensive, poisonous, and dangerous product to not only humans, but most all life, on planet Earth. ~llaw

Nuclear War Threats

NEWS

(My thoughts follow . . .)

LAW’s All Things Nuclear Thoughts for Today . . .

About the potential of nuclear war: There is really no such thing as “getting ready” for nuclear war. Especially an all-out nuclear war among any two nuclear endowed nations, which — meaning WWIII — will happen whenever one nation drops a full-fledged nuclear bomb on a second nation, causing every other nuclear armed country to enter the fray, mistaking “offense” as “defense”, much like carp swarming over an unnecessary food fight that is entirely destructive that does nothing productive to satisfy their common hunger. Instead, where humanity and other life are concerned, causing a likely mostly baron planet Earth with virtually no life at all.

It astounds me, oddly and strangely, hat our only existing ability to prevent nuclear war is to rely on something called “nuclear deterrence”, which consists of building a and stockpiling more and more, and more, nuclear warheads as time goes by so that our “despised and untrustworthy neighbor(s)” are inclined not to, or afraid to, attack one another. All it really means is that humanity fails to trust our neighbor(s) even moreso than when there were actual international agreements, pacts, and agreements once honored but now violated, torn up, and demoted to something called “file 13”. It tells me that international leaders of a nuclear-armed country cannot be trusted.

I suspect that the never-ending cost of this ridiculous idea of “deterrence” will one day become too expensive for one of the nuclear-armed countries that it can no longer afford to continue the financial drain of “nuclear deterrence” will of necessity turn “nuclear deterrence” into financial depletion”, meaning, if nothing else starts nuclear war, money will.

A financially distressed world leader may very well decide one day to say, “to hell with deterrence — we can’t afford it anymore”, and bomb their most hated “neighbor”.

That’s all it will take to create our own “armageddon”. ~llaw

China shows off its hypersonic missiles

LAW’s All Things Nuclear Thoughts for Today . . .

Nuclear Power investments in the “get rich quick” expanding nuclear power craze has come to a screeching halt as thoughtless investors, both individuals and their corporations, have suddenly seen the light bulbs go off just above their heads, realizing that Return on Investment (ROI) or any “profits” from their investments will be many years in the making and, and in most cases, may never happen. Even if there happened to be a small profit at some point somewhere, the money invested after inflation would go to your aging children and grandchildren in 25 to 50 years, or even longer, if ever.

The nuclear industry, of course, has long been aware of its current and future costs, and the long term amortization of those costs of new nuclear power plants and operational facilities along with mechanical and other perilous issues of construction of old facilities that have already passed their “mothball” dates, plus the hazards of reactor cracks and other repairs, along with rising health and safety regulations of both new SMR (Small Nuclear Reactor) and full-blown multi-reactor plants controlled by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission ( NRC).

And then there is the problem as victims of war or weapons of war, whichever way you look at them as “sitting duck” nuclear power plants ready to victimize life of all kinds with clouds of drifting radiation, which are even now stationary weapons — think present day Russia/Ukraine war — or of future nuclear wars or even accidents— both offensively and defensively — could never make them a reliable investment for any rational reason.

These immense costs will not be going away any time soon despite what Trump ignorantly pursues, demanding relaxation of these selfsame health and safety issues both of operations regulations and the mandatory protection of the innocent public are also huge threats to both old and new nuclear power plants and their ultimate costs.

Plain and simple, nuclear power will never be a good investment nor will it be an efficient and cheap provider of electricity, which the advertised Nuclear Industry propaganda claims it will be . . . Otherwise wise men and their investing corporations and ill-educated private investors will never see any such profitable return on their investments other than those who already work in the industry . . . ~llaw

LAW’s All Things Nuclear Thoughts for Today . . .

Except for TODAY’s LLAW’s NUCLEAR WORLD NEWS, this Post is a made-up, intentional example of what can happen in the corrupt cyber world we live in and exist in today! All of this is intentionally faked to incite “whatever it is” or an ongoing effort to follow Einstein’s “Grand Theory of “Everything”.

”Like the several kinds of scientists who are hopelessly leaving their world(s) of scientific thought and mistaken knowledge, abandoning their professions of what they suddenly realize — with the incoming of “whatever it is” — AI/Atlas has proven to them that they now know nothing at all about their chosen fields of astronomy, earth science, outer space, and dimensional configurations, and how space/time functions because everything they have spent a lifetime at learning has turned to meaningless embarrassment rejecting what they had learned to believe over years and years of education was totally wrong. I fully get their dejection, pain and shame of suddenly realizing that their entire education and belief systems were wrong, and understand — on my own much lesser level — what they mean and how they feel when I consider the effort that I have put into for parts of four decades attempting to convince humanity that “All Things Nuclear” will be the unnecessary cause of our own and other life forms eventual extinction — providing that the incoming “whatever it is, or they are” removes us and takes over our beautiful blue planet as their own.

I thought I could help stop our destiny of death by convincing the world to eliminate everything nuclear, but have now — partly because of the apparent lack of true human intelligence and knowledge and our inability to comprehend our “mission” here on planet Earth, even though it is far beyond my own or anyone else’s ability to understand that our lives here are based on concepts that are wrong and always have been from the moment we became cognizant of our own basic intelligent — compared to other life on Earth — knowledge compared to other species and decided, wrongly, that we were far above and beyond even the ineffable cosmos in our ability to control our destiny implicitly simply by using nothing more than our erroneous “genius”, setting norms and definitions for everything that exists on planet Earth on into how the unfathomable cosmos actually exists and works.” ~llaw

I have taken this “fabricated story” as well as my own input from a post yesterday evening from Michio Kaku’s apparently true but actually false, not to mention the well-spoken and highly respected scientist, American theoretical physicist of Japanese descent, author, and popularizer of science.”

“End Nuclear Insanity Before Nuclear Insanity Ends Humanity.”

Today’s Nuclear World News Related Image . . .

No photo description available.

Me, in S. Korea near the North/South Korea/U.S. Army De-Militarized Zone (DMZ) between the two nations at the 4th Cavalry Division Headquarters of the EUSA (Eighth U.S. Army) where I mainly spent my time rotating soldiers back to the USA for other assignments and bases, trying to get them reassigned as close as possible to home or wherever they wanted to go . . . along with other varied administrative assignments. (circa early 1960s)

LLAW’s All Things Nuclear Thoughts for Today . . .

Providing Nuclear weapons for South Korea is not a good idea, nor is it necessary. The U.S. is already aware that North Korea is a threat to, not only South Korea, but the USA itself as well, and an attack on South Korea would already be the same as a major attack on the USA. (Unless Trump changes the rules, which may be what South Korea, as he has with Ukraine, is worried about!)

The deployment of missile-delivered nuclear warheads from the USA in the event of a nuclear attack on South Korea would take only a few minutes to reach North Korea, so technically speaking, there is no reason for South Korea to have nuclear weapons at all, and, in fact, simply possessing them could cause a nuclear war between them that otherwise would more than likely never happen because the threat of nuclear possession would be of far greater worry to North Korea than it is already — including the existing fortification of American military bases, troops, and non-nuclear weapons — that North Korea is already tolerating. Adding nuclear weapons to the South Korean arsenal would instantly change, seriously raising the alarm level of their northern neighbors.

In other words, North Korea knows that a nuclear attack on South Korea would be their last war of any kind anywhere if they used nuclear weapons against South Korea in either situation— and they also know that just as quickly, nuclear missiles could be deployed from here to arrive in North Korea from the U.S. nearly as quickly from South Korea itself. So why would North Korea attack South Korea when they could just as easily, or more likely and conveniently, attack the USA, which they would no doubt do in either case . . . ~llaw
