The End of Trump and the Republican Party?

Some of the original deplorables have been replaced by others, but they all, coming or going, represent what is wrong with America.  They are  all traitors who have placed Trump’s cultism of divisiveness, xenophobia,  greed, corruption, hatred, racism, bigotry,  immorality, inhumanity, and white supremacy in a place contrary to our constitution, social culture, and our long ago affirmed democratic way of life.

On Monday, Trump is going to meet, mistakenly, privately with our Russian enemy Putin, both of them knowing that a dozen more Russians have been indicted by the Special Counsel, Robert Mueller, for attacking and swaying our 2016 presidential election along with blunt inferences that complicit Americans in the Trump Administration and in congress may be next on the indictment list. Trump knew this days before he left the U.S. for a NATO meeting (which he attacked unmercifully) and a visit with the royalty and leaders of the United Kingdom where he embarrassed America each and every day. Now he intends to continue his plan to meet with Putin, knowing that our own FBI has informed him, with names and indictments, that Russia interfered with our 2016 election in a successful attempt to get him elected. Trump has known of this Russian effort on his behalf at least since the early summer of 2016, if not before. Yet he still has no harsh words for Russia or Putin, and continues to support Russia and Putin over our own intelligence agencies. Obviously he is a traitor to our democratic republic.

Yet many Republicans in congress support his presidency and shamelessly lie, obstruct justice, and attack their own government and its agencies to protect Trump’s cultish and corrupt presidency. Those who continue to attack our government will no doubt be charged with some of the same crimes as Trump and his administration. And they will likely be convicted.

The Republican platform has become simply a “get rich quick” scheme at the expense of the middle and lower classes of citizens of this country, including the elderly, the minorities, and the infirm. Their attack on the immigrants seeking sanctuary at our southern border illustrates the decline in American morality and humanitarianism.

This egregious deportment by Republicans, including the deplorable minions that make up a quarter of the American people, cannot and will not be tolerated any longer by the rest of us. If Trump returns from his so-called ‘summit’ with Putin still supporting Russia over America and without the indicted Russians in tow, he and the entire Republican party is history. If Trump was smart, which he is not, he would seek asylum while he is in Russia come Monday morning rather than face the wrath of America when he returns. ~llaw
