PEOPLE have become blase about the danger of nuclear war simply because the world has avoided it for the past 80 years. But in about three weeks, we will get a reminder of how close mankind really is to Armageddon when the Doomsday Clock is reset.
The Bulletin of Atomic Scientists do this every year to warn how close mankind is to destroying itself with its own technologies.
The Doomsday Clock was initially meant to track the risk of nuclear war. But in recent times, other threats such as climate change and rogue technologies are also given consideration.

LLAW’s Thoughts, Concerns, and Fears about Today’s Nuclear World and beyond . . .
I posted this article more for its references to the “Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists” and the “Doomsday Clock” as well as the author’s mention of the 80 years long threat that is now bearing down on us in a much more immanent and dramatic way — and that it’s primarily all due to the Presidents of two countries — Russia and the United States.
Together they create a doomsday scenario threat that has never existed before — not in all those years of fear that eventually dissolved into thin air after the “Cold War” until Trump was elected to office for the 2nd time this year. And because of Trump and his obvious self-aggrandizement mental illness, the threat is now more critical than ever before.
So I am wondering, anxiously awaiting, the new annual resetting of the “Doomsday Clock”, and how seriously the “updated doomsday time” will influence the world population, but especially the USA’s, because Trump has not only become a war-monger, he is capable — even possibly as an individual — of using the nuclear football to respond to any other nuclear threat from any other country with Russia and North Korea being the most likely countries to involve themselves in the beginning the great “ armageddon” Biden has called WWIII.
Just this morning I read that Trump is considering additional restrictions on Russia with economic sanctions— and no doubt with childish playground bullying — as well as sanctions on China and India who buy oil, gas, and uranium from the USSR.
Trump, in all lobes of his own perverted mind, including possession and /or occupational threats to several other countries, seems to believe that he is now the self-appointed world-wide Dictator.
To most likely avoid and/or prevent an all-out nuclear war, we must remove Trump from office as soon as possible. I, for one want to live to live my full lifetime , and I’m sure you all do too! Also, I have been around for every one of those 80+ years of nuclear concern. ~llaw
