LLAW’s Nuclear World’s Thoughts Today . . .

China (checking Russia) and North Korea (checking the US) are continuing threats to Russia and the USA, which to some degree manages a threatening eye built of a shaky but reasonably stable kind of reserved control over the two largest and probably the two most dangerous of all nine of the nuclear world’s fears of nuclear war.

The USA knows that North Korea can attack us with long range nuclear warhead missiles, and Russia knows China’s growing nuclear weapons arsenal and indifferent attitude toward Russian threats seems to put a brake on Russia’ constant games with warnings of nuclear war. And then there is the “deterrence” game between the two largest powers themselves.

This is not the kind of unwritten and unstable peace this fragile world needs to remain a safe habitat for humanity and other life on planet Earth. That is why something beyond humankinds’ nuclear threats, nuclear deterrence, and, yes, nuclear powered electricity must be buried alive to rid ourselves of not only nuclear weapons of mass destruction but also nuclear power plants that will automatically become stationary nuclear weapons with nuclear fallout that rides the prevailing winds that are already recognized and in “play” by the hopefully close to at least an armistice Russia/Ukraine war, which has wrongly been billed as a non-nuclear war. So it is — that to survive “all things nuclear” — we must rid ourselves of “all things nuclear” to avoid creating humanity’s own self-made “armageddon”. ~llaw
