LLAW’s Thoughts & Concerns about Todays’ Nuclear World . . .
In one of my recent LLAW’s NUCLEAR WORLD Posts, I wondered why Japan would duplicate or replace the demolished Fukushima nuclear power plant for the same reason “Mother Nature” has apparently warned them to “forget about it” in advance.
I will add that weather’s ability to ignore or remove mankind’s best efforts to overcome Mother Earth’s occasional violence — often referred to as “Acts of God” in the business world — knowing that in addition to earthquakes and tsunamis, there are many other destructive forces lurking right over the next horizon, so this one is only one or two of the several other potential reasons.
And now we have, along with the familiar “Acts of God”, our own evermore “act of human” life-destroying relevant now because the risk of nuclear power has morphed into an instrument of nuclear war. We must avoid constructing more nuclear power plants in the future because the more there are the greater the odds that these dangerous potential life-taking nuclear facilities will contribute to unsustainable life on planet Earth.
I sit here at my desk today in awe — wondering if this was not a synchronicity-like well-advised warning from a higher source to Japan along with the rest of the world — to forget about continuing on the nuclear road to annihilating ourselves one way or another with any number of lethal “All Things Nuclear”. ~llaw
