Presidential Aides carrying the USA’s “nuclear football” containing the nuclear code that only the President can use to launch a nuclear weapon . . . But do we trust our current president — or any individual whomever it may be — to be the sole decision-maker whether or not to engage in nuclear war?
Hopefully, the current U.S. president, if not already, has been somehow prevented from being a part of this kind of mass global “suicidal” activity that, if ever used, would automatically bring on WWIII followed by the virtual end of humanity and other life everywhere . . .
Having such an irresponsible offensive or defensive nuclear war control system along with and considering the use of “nuclear deterrence” to avoid nuclear war makes me wonder why nuclear armed nations continue to constantly build more and more powerful missiles and weapons of mass destruction when we know that the use of just one nuclear bomb, even from an older stockpile, would be exactly like the little old match that burned down the entire forest and everything around it.
IMHO, it is —pure and simple — human insanity caused by multiple mental incapacity by al international l self-aggrandizing leaders who believe they can rule the world via all kinds of negative mental aberrations far too plentiful to bother to mention here. ~llaw

(Google compiles the category lists from news sources for me automatically during the course of a day, so the articles and stories themselves are not a problem to post, although they are often out of category order, which I will do my best to correct each day.)
