On My Mind Today:
Naivety . . .
As an example of what would appear to be “naïve”, this headline from MSN today actually made me laugh bitterly, but then, like the Chernobyl nuclear power plant meltdown, the effect on human health was and is a major issue that humanity needs to be very much aware of. But nuclear war? That’s a horse of another color, and using the word “health” along with today’s nuclear warfare capability is the ultimate in understatements.
However, the point I make is that it’s probably still worth reading the short article, which does use Chernobyl as an example — and which I pictured and mentioned in yesterdays’ blog— even though that disaster had absolutely nothing to do with nuclear war, but rather it happened because of human error in the plant design.
