It would be hard to blame someone who woke up Saturday morning — seeing the news that the United States had invaded Venezuela and exfiltrated its dictatorial ruler — and thought he or she might still be dreaming.
A hard pinch and a cup of coffee later, and reality set in. But questions remain.
So what does this mean politically, and what should Americans make of what happened?

Besides Iran, Trump, in his full-bloom insanity, has also threatened Greenland and Cuba of an invasion. What he is doing is absolutely against International Law, and the USA can not afford to lose face with the rest of the remaining sane world!
Canada is also at risk in the same way, and “Lord knows” what other counties does Trump believe he can threaten and conquer while he is potentially committing international crimes against a significant part of the entire globe.
As I mentioned in yesterday’s Post, he is turning the USA into a 3rd World country, not much different than Hitler believed he could accomplish by attacking the USA, which negatively creating a disastrous global WWII —the only time nuclear weapons of mass destruction have ever been used in a war. So, you see, conventional war is more than bad enough .
There is something about Trump and his obvious promotion of and financial backing of nuclear energy indicating “love” for “All Things Nuclear” that scares the hell out of me. He and Putin both appear to be thinking of creating a nuclear World War III that would destroy what has been estimated to be at least 60% of humanity — a catastrophic death toll, indeed, eliminating over 5 billion people from the world’s population — not to mention other life on planet Earth . . .~llaw
