America’s newly promised warship, the Trump-class neo-battleship, is an oddity.
Introducing Trump’s puzzling nuclear-armed battleship
The big picture: The future vessels — should they actually be paid for and constructed — subvert years of precedent, just like the commander in chief.
- Military thinkers have prioritized dispersion of firepower, people and supplies, especially in the Indo-Pacific. This is not that.
- Outfitting surface ships with nukes, in this case promised to be nuclear-armed sea-launched cruise missiles, bucks decades of post-Cold War practice.
- Warships are named a certain way and after certain people. Here, naming conventions are also out the window.
Sigh. Not that it matters anymore but that’s not how naming conventions work.
…plus, ships are not supposed to be named until they are contracted
…or be named after people still living
…and typically carriers are named after Presidents
The first ship in the class will be the USS Defiant, the official said, and not the USS Trump. Normally the lead ship is the same name as the class, but not in this case
Sigh. Not that it matters anymore but that’s not how naming conventions work.

This story recites more obvious proof that Trump is out of his mind — caring for his own ego and to hell with the rest of us and a n accurate global future that will one day be history, even down to the naming of himself both before his own passing in order to honor himself for his global accomplishments — of which there are none — because he thinks he must be respected and honored, like, forever.
This kind of mentality could only be even considered by a sick mind such as sophism, which is the personality traits of extreme self-focus, lack of empathy, and the inflated self-importance of narcissism. (Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) and also because he has self-doubts about receiving respect and honors from now into the future of forever.
One only needs to think of his “poor loser” quest for not winning the “Nobel Peace Prize” that he “begged” the world for, and was rejected — of course because he fails to even know how to spell “Peace”, I suspect . . .
This man, I absolutely believe, is seriously ill and must be removed from office before we suffer a world-wide catastrophe called World War III. ~llaw
