Working on the transfer of my nightly “All Things Nuclear” Post to my website so that I can develop it beyond the confines and limitations of Facebook, and where I can add structure and my own style and look to the nightly Post. Tomorrow morning I will repost this Post tonight to give you another glimpse at how I am putting the website version together. One good thing that I will be using frequently is that I can post several photos instead of just one (without jumping through hoops on Facebook’s format, and I can also explain the photo and even caption it for understanding and give credit to the origination of the image.
This week’s top story is that all eyes are on Japan’s dumping of nuclear waste into the Pacific Ocean, and I can tell you that whether or not the fishery will be affected immediately, it is over time, the worst possible thing we can do to our oceans. I will be looking into the long term fading (or not) of the chemical treatment that is apparently neutralizing the radiation for now, but will it last indefinitely as the radioactive waste disseminates in ocean waters?
And, even more scary, that in the near future virtually all storage nuclear waste water from years of storage all over the world(s) will be allowed to legally dump nuclear waste of all kinds into the oceans, and, as we all know what is legal leads to illegal practices.
What the UN and Japan have done is extremely bad for the future, accountability or not. There are always ways to falsify reports and, likewise, to flaunt International laws. And to my mind, it goes even deeper than that: It adds to the chances of the complete demise of life on planet Earth. ~llaw

Trump/Putin Possible Conspiracy on Peace Agreement for Ukraine.

Putin signals Trumpโ€™s Ukraine peace plan could be โ€˜basisโ€™ for future deal

by Ryan Mancini โ€“ 11/27/25 1:03 PM ET

Could it be that Trump asked Putin to tell him what he wanted to see in a Peace Agreement from Putin/Russia for Ukraine, so Putin sent his wishes to Trump. So Trump had them translated to English and sent the document back to Putin as if were Trumpโ€™s own ideas and issues. In other words Trump had no participation in negotiating the Peace Agreement, but rewrote as his own โ€œPeace Agreementโ€ for Putin to consider, so that Trump could claim he is/was a successful middle-man and advisor to Putin โ€” all with Putinโ€™s knowledge and approval, planning to force Zelenskyy to agree to the โ€œnewโ€ agreement . . . In other words Trump brokered nothing . . .~llaw

Following are the links to news articles, etc. and a copy of Putinโ€™s delight with โ€œTrumpโ€™s ideas and thoughtsโ€.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said Thursday that the Trump administrationโ€™s proposed peace plan to bring an end to the war in Ukraine could be the โ€œbasisโ€ for a future deal โ€” signaling openness to negotiate.

Putin added that while there are things that need to be discussed when the U.S. delegation meets in Moscow early next week, it did take his position into account, according to NBC News.

โ€œIn general, we agree that this could be the basis for future agreements,โ€ The Russian president told reporters during a visit to Kyrgyzstan, Reuters reported.

The initial plan, which called for Ukraine to give parts of the Donbas region to Russia and slash its military capacity, was previously panned as being too favorable to Russia. Following talks with U.S. delegates in Geneva on Sunday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he agreed to โ€œcore termsโ€ of the plan.

A new proposal was delivered to Putin after those talks were held, the Kremlin leader said Thursday. He added that Russia is โ€œabsolutely ready for a serious discussion.โ€

โ€œThey decided among themselves that all 28 points should be divided into four separate components,โ€ Putin said. โ€œIn general, we agree that this can be the basis for future agreements.โ€

Still, the Russian leader argued that his troops will continue operations in Ukraine until the two nations agree on the terms of a ceasefire deal.

โ€œUkrainian forces will have to leave the territories they currently occupy, and then the fighting will stop,โ€ The Moscow Times reported Putin saying. โ€œIf they donโ€™t, we will achieve this by military means.โ€

U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff, who is expected to travel to Russia next week, came under fire earlier this week after an earlier phone call with a Russian aide was leaked. Witkoff reportedly called Yuri Ushakov on Oct. 14 to urge him to encourage Putin to congratulate President Trump for brokering a peace deal between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, according to Bloomberg, which reviewed a recording of the correspondence.

Trump defended the call on Tuesday as โ€œa standard thing.โ€

โ€œHeโ€™s got to sell this to Ukraine, heโ€™s got to sell Ukraine to Russia,โ€ Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One. โ€œThatโ€™s what a dealmaker does.โ€

โ€œI havenโ€™t heard it, but I heard it was standard negotiation,โ€ he continued. โ€œAnd I would imagine heโ€™s saying the same thing to Ukraine, because each party has to give and take.โ€

Lawmakers in Washington also criticized Witkoffโ€™s call, with Rep. Don Bacon (R-Ned.) accusing Witkoff of giving full โ€œfavors to the Russians.โ€

โ€œHe cannot be trusted to lead these negotiations,โ€ Bacon wrote on the social platform X. โ€œWould a Russian paid agent do less than he? He should be fired.โ€

The deal would also require the Kremlin to provide $100 billion in assistance to Ukraine for redevelopment after the war while halting Kyivโ€™s plans to join NATO.

Trump called the proposal a โ€œfine-tunedโ€ measure agreeable to both parties and suggested he could meet with Zelensky and Putin once a deal is finalized.
